Setting the makeup: a process of keeping the makeup on longer and reducing smudging by sprinkling a small amount of setting powder onto a powder puff, folding the puff in half, and rubbing the powder into the puff, then lightly shaking off the excess powder from the puff and pressing the powder and puff into the makeup.
Base color: a makeup color that is used to represent the overall desired color of the character. You may wish to remove the makeup colors from the plastic palette for ease of use.
Stippling or patting makeup on: a process where cream makeup is applied using a sponge to apply the makeup with an up and down motion instead of a streaking motion.

Application Instructions
1. Begin by using a brush and the blue makeup from the makeup palette. Roll the brush to create the desired lines and shapes as shown. The idea is the come up with a pleasing shape to the eye that flows with the shape of the face, using vine-like lines.
2. Blend the white makeup with the blue to create a lighter tone. Following the previous design, use the brush to help create a sense of depth. Blend the white and blue to eliminate hard edges.
3. Using the brush, fill areas needed with small dots or other shapes with the black makeup. Set the makeup with colorless powder and a powder puff.
4. Highlight the black lines with white makeup to create a 3D effect. Set the makeup with powder.
5. After the designed areas are completed and set with powder, it may leave a slight haze to the makeup. You can prevent this by using a damp powder brush or tissue, and lightly brushing over the top of the makeup.
6. You may want to detail your design using the glitter. You can apply the glitter directly on the desired areas of the makeup before you have powdered the makeup, or for better adhesion, mix the glitter into a very small amount of hair gel and apply to the skin.

Adding a wig or using a temporary spray in colorant for the hair can leave you with the perfect compliment to you makeup.

Removal
Use a small brush or cotton swab to rub a small amount of Cinema Secrets Makeup & Adhesive Remover onto the skin. Be careful when working around the eyes, to not get any remover in the eyes. Rinse the skin using a towel and warm water.
