Terms Setting the makeup: a process of keeping the makeup on longer and reducing smudging by sprinkling a small amount of setting powder onto a powder puff, folding the puff in half, and rubbing the powder into the puff, then lightly shaking off the excess powder from the puff and pressing the powder and puff into the makeup. Base color: a makeup color that is used to represent the overall desired color of the character. You may wish to remove the makeup colors from the plastic palette for ease of use. Stippling or patting makeup on: a process where cream makeup is applied using a sponge to apply the makeup with an up and down motion instead of a streaking motion.
Application Instructions 1. Begin with the makeup palette and a white makeup sponge. Apply the green makeup in a jagged pattern across the face and neck, being careful that you don’t get the makeup into the eyes. 2. Using the clean side of a white makeup sponge or brush, apply the brown makeup into the areas shown, again in a jagged pattern following the same direction as the green makeup. 3. With the brush or sponge, apply black makeup, filling in any area that has exposed skin showing through, then use the black to outline each individual color. 4. Set the makeup with colorless powder and a powder puff. Remove excess powder with a damp powder brush or damp tissue.
You may want to use a temporary hair spray colorant to add to the completed look. Removal Use a small brush or cotton swab to rub a small amount of Cinema Secrets Makeup & Adhesive Remover onto the skin. Be careful when working around the eyes, to not get any remover in the eyes. Rinse the skin using a towel and warm water.
